Information of the Action: |
The project includes the supply and installation of 3 systems - A-SMGCS, SMR, MLT, for the coverage of ground movements of vehicles and Aircrafts in Athens International Airport (AIA). The Multirateration system (MLAT) of AIA will be expanded into a Wide Area Multirateration (WAM) in order to cover the Air Traffic services of Athens Terminal and Approach area.
More specific, the supply includes:
- Surface Movement Radar SMR X-BAND (solid state) and MLAT for the coverage of ground movements of vehicles and Aircrafts in Athens International Airport (AIA).
- Advanced Surface movement and ground control system A-SMGCS, which data will be displayed to AIA tower and approach (APP).
- Expansion of multirateration system (MLAT) into Wide Area Multirateration (WAM) in order to cover the Air Traffic services of Athens Terminal and Approach area.
- Technical Monitoring and Control System –TMCS for the abovementioned systems. |
